Crossways provides a professional counselling service in Haslemere and the surrounding area for people who otherwise would not be able to afford private counselling sessions. We have a team of 10 counsellors who have either a degree or MA in counselling and abide by the Code of Ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. They are all Christians and work under regular supervision. Crossways offers help and support to individuals who are experiencing a variety of difficulties such as:
- Depression, anxiety or confusion
- Redundancy, work or retirement- related issues
- Relationship or family difficulties
- Bereavement or loss
- Sexual orientation
- Gender identity issues
It is useful to note however, that these are the presenting problems, but clients often go on to work on much deeper issues from their past, including physical, sexual and emotional abuse in childhood.
